Welcome to the Pulpit page. I want to use this page to write a personal note to you as an encouragement of what God is doing. From the pulpit, I want to preach and teach in a way that will challenge your heart towards Christ. God has been working on my heart concerning our worship and our commitment to Him. I believe there is a worship that really honors God, focuses on God, and brings people to God. It is not about style but rather the heart of the worshippers. We will be exploring some new things in our worship and changing some old things. I am encouraged that the Lighthouse can make a profound impact in our community. Be encouraged that God is moving in and through our congregation.

Take advantage of these upcoming opportunities:
First, Elements of Discipleship. This is a unique approach to discipleship based on six elements (Passion, Discovery, Wonder, Belonging, Service, and Influence). You can join in these studies through Life Groups, special study groups, and even on your own through self-study. Many people are enjoying growing deeper through bible studies offered in Elements.
Second, Purpose Driven Weekends. We will have four weekends this year to study Purpose Driven and the Lighthouse. We will begin on Friday night and conclude Saturday at lunch. You will get an inside look at what we do and why we do it. Our goal is for everyone to attend a PDW this year. The next weekend will be October 24-25
Third, The Network. We will be implementing this program through our Ministry Development Team to help everyone discover their gifts and find a place of service suited for the way God has made you. This will be a six week study offered several times throughout the year.
Our pulpit series will be the launching of five ships: Partnership, Discipleship, Lordship, Relationship and Ownership.
