Elements of Discipleship 

Elements of Discipleship Continues ~ This year we are focusing on a brand new approach to Discipleship called ELEMENTS! Elements is built on the premise that discipleship is less a collection of often repeated rituals or disciplines than it is a spiritual recognition of a Creator and a journey to seek the truth He has for our lives. There are six ELEMENTS of discipleship that will be highlighted in this ministry:

    Passion: Studies about Jesus Christ and his influence in the world, as well as our lives.

    Discovery: Studies about God's Word, specifically on Bible Books.

     Wonder: Studies about communication with the Creator of the universe through prayer and worship.

     Belonging: Studies focusing on our relationships with one another, whether in marriage, ministry, or parenthood.

    Service: Studies about our service within the body of Christ or outside the body in the surrounding community, both local and global.

    Influence: Studies about sharing the faith we have in Jesus Christ with others in the surrounding community, both local and global.

Purpose Driven Weekends are coming in 2008. You will have four opportunities to discover what makes the Lighthouse tick. You will experience the "why's" of what we do and the "how's" of our ministries. Using a Friday night ~ Saturday morning format, you will get in on the foundation for which the Lighthouse exists. Take the opportunity to attend a Purpose Driven Weekend in 2008! The next  one is September 24-25, 2008!
